Exit Music (For a Film) by Radiohead

So much going on and stuck like Hamlet, prince of Denmark among the layers of my nature.

For me, what's right and wrong isn't set in stone; morality is circumstantial. And though I have cause, I can't give to my past in vain.

So like Hamlet, I'm stuck contemplating my future actions, ashamed of my lack of vengeance and worried about my future, and where the right and wrong exist in this situation.

Shit, people suck.

Her Middle Name Was Boom by Glassjaw

Life is pretty good right now. I just got my first official haircut since I was 14 years old, and Jolo's girlfriend tailored these really nice pants for me. Looking fly is awesome.

Working out has also been amazing. Not including the few days stopping to change my schedule, I really haven't missed a day since shit, before May. Now I'm pushing myself harder than before, and gaining a lot of strength quickly. Reps and Weights up for pretty much everything now. 3 sets of 50 roman chairs is nothing for me now. I'm gonna switch it up to 75, maybe even 100 if I can.

Still not doing plyometrics for the legs, I want to wait til I hit 200 for squats, maybe wait til 225 if I can do that by the end of September. Looks like I've got another goal to meet.

BTW, I'm talking 200 for 3 sets of 12, not like a set of 6. I'm pretty sure I could do that now if I tried.

Other shit's getting set too. Joey's mom is taking me driving next week. I know this is way later into the summer than I wanted to, but with all the people leaving work, there's not much else I could do about that. The important thing is I'll be set for school. Nice.

Anyways, I've gotta go. Peace.

I just came across some of the BEST news in my life!

A sequel to G.T.O. just released in Japan 5 days ago. I'm downloading the first chapter right now. Holy shit, as dorky as this sounds, this comic has been one of the biggest influences on my life!

I'm damn excited!

PPA by Rodrigo y Gabriela

Nothing eventful. I haven't done anything since last Thursday. I feel bad, Jolo called me on Saturday but I've fucked up my sleep schedule, and spent the day sleeping. I've kept up with working out though, and surprisingly, my knee is feeling 100% better, though that's without jumping rope. I'd love to start again just to see if it's actually better, but I'd hate to ruin what healing may still be occurring. I'll wait another 2 weeks, then I should be good.

Still keeping my weight lowered for squats, but I my reps are back to normal. Which is great. Next Tuesday I'm gonna try and go for squatting my body weight again, and then if all's good, the week after I'm gonna try raising it. Not sure by how much, seems with squats my strength raises the quickest, and I can make the biggest gaps in raising the weight. Then again, legs are like the strongest shit on the body, ya know?

I started plyometrics again, only for clappers though Working great, too. I read it's good to do a 8x5 routine, so I'm doing that for a while, maybe in a couple weeks raise it. I'm afraid to start with my legs, so that will wait until I jump rope. I can kick my bag though, no problem, but I haven't busted my ass on that the last couple days. When I did I worked a little on the lead leg roundhouse Jolo showed me, and man. Man. He said when he first heard about it he set out to make it his kick. I can see why, it's got a lot of power. Really hard to start off doing, but after practice I can see it being powerful.

The new Fight Night is great. So is UFC: Undisputed. Undisputed is WAY better than all the other UFC games. There's so much shit you can do in it. Those are two games I'm getting ASAP.

Alright I'm taking of.

-There's a dog outside barking, so far off, it sounds hushed and hollowed. If you've played Earthbound, and know the track my post title is, it reminds me of that.

-My knee, at this moment, is doing fine. Tuesday and Wednesday it HURT like hell. I stopped jumping rope since Tuesday then. It's gradually gotten better, and is fine enough to strike my heavy bag with.

-I'm on my 5th day of vacation. Starting to slip into the whole fuck up my sleep phase. Didn't get up until 5 pm today.

-I've got a 360 now, and a nice new tv. Games include fallout 3 and expansion, stranglehold, mirrors edge and RE5. all great.

-That's all. Peace.

*(This may have be a post title before; I can't remember if, and so, I hope not)*

AMAZING PICTURE! I want this on my wall, right now!

-I did something stupid on Monday. Out of desperation, due to my mom being home and I being too self-conscious to work out in front of anyone, I resorted to doing my cardio (JUMPING ROPE) on my CONCRETE basement floor.

Bad, BAD idea.

My right knee hurts a lot right now, it has the last 2 days. With a support band, I'm able to walk and jump rope and stuff fine, But I can't do leg curls because my knee rests on something while I do them.

OK, so it's not that big of a deal. Still, since I'm doing endurance today, it sort of sucks. I really didn't think one day of jumping on concrete could do anything, but I guess it can. I'm not 100% sure if my knee hurts due to Monday though, because it didn't start hurting until Wednesday, and you'd figure it'd be in pain Tuesday. Plus, it feels a little swollen by the side of the cap closest to my body, and hurts like it's sore when I push into it. So it's very possible I hit something (Actually, this is more than likely due to my frequent accidents). Hopefully a week from now I'll be better.

My right wrist hurts some too. I can't do curls with it, unless I hold it with my left hand. I think that may be due more to hitting the bag a couple times incorrectly, so I haven't hit it in two days, and probably won't until this weekend. If it's not better by Sunday, I'll just keep shadow boxing until it is. It really only hurts when I curl with it though, not so much anything else.

Anyways, I'm still busy here, and don't have too much time left before I have to work. 1-9:30 today, oh boy. What fun.

PS: I just got more money in, and have those unclaimed checks still to send in for, and just got an increase on my credit limit. Shit. Looks like I'm giving in. I'm getting a Xbox 360. Tomorrow.

Nice To Know You by Incubus

New workout for Wednesdays and Thursdays: Endurance training. I want to be able to do one handed push-ups by the time school starts. So Wednesdays I'm training endurance for my arms. Basically, tons and tons of different types of push-ups. For forearms, I'm using hand grips. Lat's I'll still do rows.

I figure if I'm doing endurance for arms better do them for legs, too. So Thursdays I'm doing leg extensions and curls instead of squats. Everything else I'll do with weights still.

So I'll only be using weights twice a week for the two halves of my body. Just enough to keep my strength up, and let me focus on endurance. Now if you'll excuse me, it's back to working out.

The Moon And The Prince by Akitaka Tohyama and Kenji Ninuma

-The new workout schedule is GREAT. Cardio has been great, too. It's only been a week, and I'm up a little bit on the time and reps for the jump roping. Which is great. I figure I'll add more at the beginning of every week.

The boxing has been nice as well. My gloves are already broken... Which isn't to say much, they were novelty Spiderman gloves I got from DG... That means I need to get a real pair soon. I'll probably check out the mall Saturday or something, because I don't want to skip on the bag no matter what, that's my favorite.

Jolo showed my some thai kicks last night. I got the round house and straight knees already, he showed them to me like a year ago. But the leading roundhouse is new, and really hard. It didn't help that I didn't have the loosest pants to jump around in, but certainly, I don't think I would of done any better with sweat pants or something on. Looks like I've got something new to work on the bag.

He showed me some sweet elbow strikes, which are gonna be fun to practice.

Slowly but slowly, we're getting there white boy...

-I want to be phenomanal by the age of 25. That's two and a half years from now. Let's do this.

Better Than Heaven by Bloc Party

The new workout schedule is nice. Altogether, took 2 hours, with a 45 minute break thrown in there (had some shit to do after cardio). I ran out of time to do the shadow box and use the bag, so I figure, minus the break plus that, I'll be working out at the MAX 2 hours six days a week. Not bad, not bad. About what it was before Spring Break, I'm just replacing the pyramid sets for cardio shit. So, that's good.

Anyways, I have literally about 7 minutes before I need to leave for work, and I'm not dressed, haven't eaten, brushed my teeth, or shaved. Shit. Peace.

Sex On Fire by Kings of Leon

So today, feeling really not myself, and cutting low on time, I took it easy working out. Tried sets with the highest weights I used for benching, squatting, raises and curling. That's it. No abs or anything else. Oh, and some jump roping for cardio, but not very much.

My new schedule, the way I figure is like this.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Bench press, bicep curl, close grip press, rows, roman chairs, wrist curls.
Plyometrics-Clappers, ???
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: Squats, raises, pullovers, shrugs, twists, leg raises.
Plyometrics-Jumping squats, jumping lounges (which by the way, KILL).

I'll only focus on the heaviest weights, working at 3 sets, getting in both strength and endurance then. Meaning each workout should take less than 10 minutes, which is an hour each day. Couple with let's say 5 more minutes of plyometics, and 20-30 minutes of cardio, that's around an hour and a half 6 days a week (half hour of cardio on Sundays).

I'm skipping tomorrow, starting on Friday. I'll try and do something a little extra on Friday's and Saturday's routine since I have an extra day of rest for each. That way after 2 days break between, hopefully I'll have gained just a sliver enough of strength to get ready to be working 3 sets of heavy shit on the days I only get 1 day breaks.

Don't mean to bore you all with this. Need to list this out though so I know exactly what I'm doing. By the end of this summer I should be able to work with nothing but HEAVY ass compound shit. Eventually I'll have to add military presses into all of this for that. Once the compound work starts, my workouts will be cut down in time drastically.

Anyways, I'm gonna go to bed early. I haven't had any caffeinated drinks today, just water (and some milk). I need to fall asleep by midnight, and force myself to get up by 8, get on a schedule like that to make sure I have time for working out and I don't feel like shit and skimp out on it like I did today. Peace.

5:55 by Charlotte Gainsbourg

I think I need to make a new schedule for working out. The 3 times a week thing is nice, because it's supposed to give me 4 days of breaks. Except, now that I'm doing cardio and hitting the bag everyday, I'm still working out at least half an hour everyday. I think I'm going to do the 6 days a week thing. Alternate lower and upper, middle all 6 days, and a break on Sunday. I'm also gonna cut down, and instead of doing pyramid sets, only work with the highest amount of weight I've been using. That way, I'll only be working out for an hour to an hour and a half on those 6 days, which is better than four. Way better.

The way I figure, not only does that cut into time, but that way I can build my way into endurance with those weight sets, which is really what I want to focus on. Not so much for bicep curling, but for everything else. Squats, tricep curls, and wrist curls mainly. Probably bring my bench up 20 pounds sooner or later, but no more than that. I'm at the lift level I want to be at right now, so all I want is speed and stamina. Plus, with plyometics, it does me better to focus on the heavier stuff only so I have more in me when I go to do clappers and shit. Monday I only did 30. Jolo says I should move on to doing one handed stuff after I can do 2 sets of 100 pushups. I have a long way to go.

Also, my calves are killing me for the first time in my life. Raises never did much, but coupled with jumping rope, damn. DAMN.

That's it though. Peace.

Real by Lupe Fiasco

Sweet. Sweet.

ONE MORE FINAL. THAT'S IT!!!

No more than 4 hours from now, and I will be done with all my school work (the most time consuming work for me there is), and I'll be able to concentrate on other things.

Those things being mainly CAR, WORKING OUT, CHICAGO.

And whatever the hell I want to do in between that.

Fuck, but there's also work. Job work...

Why does growing up have to be filled with so much work? I mean, I don't mind pushing myself, busting my ass, those sorts of things but I do mind working a job in a very cheap store in the middle of a very hick town.

Oh Confucius, you're right!!! It's unfortunate that Superhero isn't a real career choice...

Enough complaining though, for the most part life is good. I overdrew my account again, but lucky for me I've got so much behind me right now, I can pay that off with ease by tomorrow, and have tons of money left over. I've got a credit card, I just realized that, not like an exclusive specific store only kind, like a real, visa credit card with a limit that I'm not willing to discuss on here.

I haven't used it yet, haven't even called in to activate it. I guess I just never realized that I HAVE A CREDIT CARD.

Seriously. Fuck what any hippie says about credit card companies and shit. Build up decent credit, start now when you're young, and you'll get rewarded the most. Just make sure to be responsible about it (I suppose that's harder to do than say; Also, unlike my basic work account, I'm VERY attentive of and strict about my credit, haven't fucked it up once). Do that, and man, in 2 years you'll see progress, little by little as far as limits and shit go.

Sure, I suppose that eventually you can reach a point where you're paying off shit your entire life, but at 10  dollars a month who cares? Not me.

Haha, wow. Seriously. And I'm  still considered lower class, which means tons of money for not having money for school. I'm horrible!!!

Peace.

Alive With The Glory Of Love by Say Anything

-Well, this is it. My books done being read. My works pretty much done. I've got finals tomorrow, plenty of time to study for them, and then summer break begins.

SWeeeeeeet.

zoning out sometimes...

-Working out has been easier lately. Which is nice. Friday I'm gonna throw in some extra stuff, and next week I'm gonna try heavier shit since I'll have the time then.

-I can't wait for my tax money now. The money's mine, all mine, so I'm heading to the mall to buy a suit or something. Looked at catalogs online of every nice store. Shit. It's nice to say this is a 600 dollar suit... but in all reality, that's not very expensive.

It'd be pretty cool if one day I can say I'm wearing a 5,000 dollar suit.

I Wish He Would Make Me by Illogic

-What the fuck. Can you tell Illogic is supposed to be composed of 1 I and 2 L's? It looks really weird to me. A threesome of some letter.

Yes. YES. All my work is done. All I really have to do is study some, and read a book by next Thursday. That's not even real work. Dear Lord. Summer is here.

YES!!!

Wait, what's all this shitty rain for?

-Anyways, nothing too new here. I'm back in shape with working out, on a normal schedule now. I only work out Monday, Wednesday and Friday now, for just under two hours on those days, which isn't too bad time wise. I hit every section of my body, too. Once school is OFFICIALLY out, I start my cardio, and work on endurance with weights as well.

Funny thing about that bench, I used to to squat with more weight, but I don't bench over 100. Seriously. Some one that can curl for 100 altogether can DEFINITELY bench more than 100. It's not that I feel like I can't, it's just that I really don't enjoy benching, it's very easy. I like close grips for the triceps, but that;s it. I'll eventually move up to 120, and probably spend more time with benching focusing on reps. I dunno, benching just seems unnecessary to me. Jolo said you only use the chest muscle as a last resort in pushing, and Bruce Lee didn't have a huge chest either, but he did hit more weight than me. Maybe I'll think about it someday, but for now I'm fine with what I'm doing.

Started pullovers too. Nice. I'm gonna get a chin-up bar soon as well. Gonna talk to Jolo about which one he has, because I need it to be a door frame one.

Also, my hand is almost there. After the 10th, I think I'm gonna go for it. Test out my bag. FUCKING finally.

A boxing club is starting up in Hammond, and some people on campus have talked to me about checking it out. I actually might do that, but not before I work with Jolo. He just got some thai pads in, and is very eager to start training people.

-Tomorrow is gonna be sweet. Me, and the Jolo gang, are gonna go and see that Wolverine movie. Fuck yeah, Deadpool!!! Please, please, PLEASE don't fuck up his character and make him anything but offensive and insane. Please...
